[Birthday - 'Talk To You'] MAS 0094 Dongmyeong “TWICE-sunbae-nims’ greetings? Just thinking about it makes me happy”

(Seoul=FocusNews) While the talented band MAS 0094 (Kanghyun‧Yonghoon‧Harin‧Dongmyeong‧Cya) announced their comeback 6 days ago, with their new album ‘MAKE SOME NOISE’, Dongmyeong (Son Dongmyeong), the one in charge of the vocal and the piano, had his birthday on the 10. He was born on January 10th 2000.
MAS 0094 are quickly gaining recognition domestically and abroad with their first schedule of 2017 starting with Chinese’s activities etc. We heard the story behind Dongmyeong’s birthday as he told his thoughts happily, even when having a busier birthday than in the past, “That’s why I’m happier”.
- Q. [What do you think you will do on your birthday?]
▲ “It seems like I will be doing this interview right now. It’s the first time we have a schedule on my birthday so I think it’s something to be really happy about.”
- Q. [Any thoughts on your first birthday since debut?] ▲ “I’m really happy because I received a lot of congratulations from all the members, as well as from many fans, and friends. Because we have a lot of activities these days, we’ve been busy and I didn’t realize it was my birthday until late.”
- Q. [What meaning do you give to your birthday?] ▲ “I think it’s the most special day of the year. So, I keep thinking that I can be happy whatever I’m doing. Usually on my birthday I always go to Lotte World but because today’s schedule is ending late it would be a waste of money so I said to my parent to go to grandma’s house.”
- Q. [What do you think about aging?] ▲ “I’m still young so I think I never thought of it particularly. I’m just thinking about how I can make my last birthday as a teenager meaningful.”
- Q. [The word you want to hear the most on your birthday?] ▲ “Happy birthday. I feel great because earlier I suddenly received birthday greetings. Because those are words you only hear once in a year it would be nice if I could hear many of them.”
- Q. [The most memorable birthday?] ▲ “Last year birthday is the most memorable. We recorded ‘15초후 (After 15 seconds)’ on the 9th and as soon as we finished my family and I went to Lotte World. My parents were also tired but because it’s a day that only happend once a year it’s easily understandable.”
- Q. [If you have to choose a particular gift that you received?] ▲ “Nintendo game. In the past I didn’t dare buy it, because it’s a bit expensive. But suddenly a year ago, just for my birthday, my parents bought me this game. That's why I think that until now it’s the most special gift (that I’ve received).”
- Q. [If you were given a break on your birthday what do you want to do?] ▲ “I want to travel. Because I’m always together with the members, it feels like a trip every time we go somewhere. So, I want to go on a trip with my family, with who I can’t really travel with. The mountain is a good place because the landscape is better than the sea’s.”
- Q. [How do imagine your birthday in 10 years?] ▲ “In 10 years I’ll be 29. First, I think I will still be on stage, and, compared to now, I would have grown as an adult, right? But I think that even in 10 years I will still go to Lotte World. (laugh).”
- Q. [If there is a star you want to receive a congratulation from?] ▲ “The members really like TWICE-sunbae-nim. So, I wish I could receive congratulations from TWICE-sunbae-nim. I think I would be happy If I receive even a message video. Just imagining it makes me smile.”
- Q. [Is there people you want to thanks on your birthday?] ▲ “My parents. Thank you for giving birth to me and raising me. To be honest I’m not really good at saying those kinds of words to my parents, so I think they will be happy if they can at least hear it through this article.”
- Q. [A message to yourself.] ▲ “Dongmyeong-ah~ Really, happy birthday. I’m proud to see you work hard even on your birthday and, I’m happy because I think you lived well until now. I hope you can have an even happier birthday next year. I’m really proud to see you live diligently like that, thank you!”
