[Interview] RBW trainees “We can say it to the director of ‘Produce 101 Season 2’ now”

The trainees Son Dongmyeong, Yeo Hwanwoong, Lee Gunmin, Lee Gunhee who are affiliated to RBW had a message to Ahn Joonyoung PD, who directed ‘Produce 101 Season 2’ for Mnet.
‘Produce 101 Season 2’ is a survival program where 11 finalists are picked among 101 male trainees. There was quite an amount of ‘evil editing’ and controversies throughout the broadcast. There was also someone who stood out among the amount of beneficiary and regretful edits (made) between the RBW trainees’ relationship. The program has now ended, and they have something to say to the director Ahn Joonyoung.
Instead of their frustration, they expressed their gratitude to the director Ahn Joonyoung. Son Dongmyeong said, “Fortunately, the four of us all avoided evil editing. I’m grateful that we were left out (of it).” Lee Gunhee added, “(…) If our performance for (representing) RBW had been aired in the 1st or 2nd episode, we were excited about receiving even more support but it’s a pity it was edited out.”
When Lee Gunhee brought up the subject, all the trainees unanimously talked about the edit of their performance. The performance that RBW prepared was edited and not even 1 minute of it was aired. Yeo Hwanwoong said, “We practiced really hard for this performance. We really practiced hard but it’s a pity that it wasn’t broadcasted,” adding, “Especially because after this part the trainers made us dance or sing one by one. (…)”

Sadly, even if you can watch the RBW performance on Internet, we couldn’t check the individual skills of the four trainees. (…) They cutely made a request to the director Ahn Joonyoung, “Since you probably saw the video of our individual skills on your own, couldn’t you release it?”.

- Whoa, the PD really edited (badly).... They even showed their individuals skills but they edited everything out, even the whole stage, for real it’s too much. If you’re going to do that, give us the unedited version.. For real, they’re kids that could have done well if they just appeared a lot of the show but it’s such a pityㅠㅠ [+135 / -3]
